ESKETAMINE (SPRAVATO)
Spravato (esketamine) is FDA indicated for treatment resistant depression and acute suicidal ideation in depressed clients.
Inquire at Veda House to discuss prior authorization process and insurance benefits to see if this service is available to you. Out of pocket payment is also accepted.
*Please note the following considerations for Spravato:
-Treatments are a minimum of (2) hours long and you cannot drive after your treatment until the following morning, therefore transportation to and from treatment site must be arranged.
-You must be medically monitored at a certified site, this treatment cannot be administered at home
-You must be able to self-administer this treatment, mobility or cognitive impairment may exclude you from this treatment.
Administration schedule for treatment resistant depression is as follows with no exception and must arrange to accommodate this frequency:
-(2) Treatments per week for (1) month
-Based on month one's efficacy, (1) Treatment per week for (1) month
-Maintenace treatments which frequency can vary from weekly to monthly until determined to be in symptom remission
Administration schedule for acute suicidal ideation in the depressed individual is as follows with no exception and must arrange to accommodate this frequency:
